Access

This page is to help those unfamiliar with Lakes Anglican

to know how to find us, and what to expect.

Driving

We are at 274 Wallarah Rd, Kanwal.

There are 2 entries.

1. The Wallarah Rd Entry is accessible ONLY to west bound traffic. It is a ONE WAY Entry only. (Out of hours this entry is an automatic security gate which opens with a pass.)

2. The Literary Cl Entry, at the rear, is open on Sundays and for events and activities. It is a narrow TWO WAY Entry and Exit. There are few rear car spaces. You can access the main front carpark by turning right after entry. 

3. You can EXIT onto Wallarah Rd ONLY by using the lower gate.

Please drive carefully on site.

5km Speed Limit.

All Ability Access

There is a covered drop-off zone at the front of the church. It is also the start of a gentle ramp.

The closest Parking spaces to the Church are marked reserved for people with a disability.

There is a 1cm 'raised lip' to enter the church foyer area. Access to the church is on your immediate right upon entry.

On your left is access into the church hall and kitchen area. There is a disability toilet on the left of the church hall. Male and Female toilets are on the right.

Op Shop + Church Office

The OP Shop and Church Office is located underneath the main church. All ability access is from the lower part of the car park.

Please do not block access

to the private residence

next to the Op Shop and Office.

Bethany Room (Playtime)

The Bethany Room is accessed at the rear of the property. Park at the back. There are 2 entries. The front all ability entry is best for prams. Please shut the half door after entry so children don't escape! There is a rear entry with steps next to the outdoor fenced area, next to the Solid Rock Cafe. There are some external toilets by the front entry. The Access code is 316, (After John 3:16.)

The Solid Rock Cafe

Planning to reopen at Easter 2026. This is a separate building at the rear of the property. All ability access is either by walking past the Op Shop and Office entry, or by using the pathway from the rear carpark next to the enclosed playground.

Defibrillator + First Aid

There is a Defibrillator centrally located at the top of the internal stairs in the Main Entry Foyer.

First Aid kits are located next to the kitchen in the Church Hall, and behind the Reception to the OP Shop/Office.

The whole site has an alarm and camera security system that is monitored by Ultimate Security.
