The Church of the Holy Spirit, Kanwal
Lakes Anglican is a warm and welcoming evangelical community of faith. We are at 274 Wallarah Road, Kanwal, (Sparks Road if you are turning off the F3). You can follow us on Facebook here
We offer opportunities for Worship, Community, Bible Study, and Christian Service and Mission. People come to us for many reasons, primarily to build a relationship with Jesus Christ and God his (and our) Heavenly Father.
People often ask about Baptism, Marriage and Funerals, and find a community of welcome and acceptance. We also offer pastoral counsel, fellowship, study and teaching. On site we have an active office of the Samaritans offering help to those in need, an Op shop to help make the money go a little further and provide another opportunity of service, we have a coffee shop on site and even though there is a lot going on you will find support and friendship among us.
Lakes Anglican is a welcoming church. We are Anglican by denomination, evangelical in our understanding of who Jesus Christ is, and embrace a range of worship styles from traditional to contemporary. Our people include and represent a broad spectrum of being Christian – from the conservative end of worship to the more charismatic contemporary. We gather for worship and scatter for mission and service.
We invite you to come among us as a visitor or a member. On the website you will find many things about us, and you are welcome to browse. The News and Lakes Express Pages will bring you up to date with current information.
